Luvox is a wonder drug!

So, I went out to dinner and hookah with a friend of mine and his gf, who I hadn't met yet. We clicked pretty well, she seems cool, smart, and the right sort of weird. They make a cute couple and we had a lot of fun.

At the hookah lounge, we started playing Cthulhu Dice. We were having lots of fun and being a bit rowdy and the couple at the next table joked back at us.

I invited this pair of total strangers to come join us.

They did. We played 3 rounds of Cthulhu Dice with them and exchanged numbers. I DID THIS.

Fucked up sleep, vomiting, sexual dysfunction... worth it. I CAN TALK TO PEOPLE.

So I found this UK show called Beaver Falls about British guys working at an American summer camp.

When I was a tween, I went to a summer camp where the staff was like 30% British.

It's like an awesome funhouse mirror. On the show, there is a dicktastic camp director making a huge deal of the 4th of July. At my camp, every 4th we'd hit the dining hall at breakfast festooned with British flags and everyone thought it was hysterical - the big celebration we had was on Bastille Day (a camp tradition dating from the Vietnam era when the bohemian staff and campers wanted to make a Statement).

Loving this show.

Can has hookah!

UPS came by a bit ago with the box I was eagerly awaiting. The hookah's a budget model, and nowhere near as wonderful as the ones at Yahala, but it beats a pumpkin hookah. As she is blue, she is of course named Idris, and I am currently smoking an inaugral bowl of Nakhla Earl Grey and sipping iced Earl Grey tea (while I can, the way caffiene and Luvox mix I'mma need to stick to the jasmine white from now on).
