I'm actually cooking a vaguely Thanksgivingy feast for myself! Turkey meatloaf, Stove Top stuffing doctored with onions, dried cranberries, and some extra seasoning, creamed corn (ok, that one's straight out of a can) and a pumpkin pie with maple-ginger whipped cream. I'd been thinking of going to Threadgill's (they have a Thanksgiving set menu) but my neighbor gave me a can of pumpkin and that kind of got me started. I'll be bringing her some of the pie and whipped cream, too! I offered to make her up a plate with the other stuff but she isn't feeling well and asked for just pie. Definitely a step up from the "Thanksgiving Pizza" (look it up if you dare) I got from Double Dave's last year.
