Things that are promising today:

FeDex showed up before noon, I had no trouble setting up the new computer, and it's running Windows XP, which I love. And I won a caption contest for a food delivery service I've been giving a lot of use lately (the pic was a baby on a platter with naan, my suggestion was "A Modest Samosa"), and the piercing I'd feared lost when the jewelry fell out and I didn't notice for who knows how long is safely re-jewelried.

I could try to give a detailed account of the move but it's not particularly exciting. The movers did a good job, and worked fast. I have a super comfortable bed, because when my mother found out that I'd spent a decade on a futon and my back was wrecked she hit the Presidents' Day Sale at Macy's for me. Being without internet for a week and a half made me a pathetic wreck, although I had limited access thanks to my phone (It really was pretty perfect timing, me getting that!) and network-capable Blu-ray (Christmas gift from Dad I'd waited until after the move to open, both to simplify packing and to have a good thing to link to moving in).

The apartment doesn't feel like home yet, and the awkward layout of the complex is still grating. But I'm almost entirely unpacked.

Tomorrow I have a nurse appointment at MHMR. I have some Things To Say to the people there. I'd been assigned a caseworker I was supposed to see about once a week. We had an appointment on the 14th and he called 15 minutes before I was supposed to meet him to cancel and said we could reschedule for the 24th, only he never returned any of my calls to actually schedule anything. Also only part of my medication orders got faxed to the pharmacy and I haven't been able to get refills. NOT COOL.
