I was in an absolute flurry of eager panic, so I left the apartment a little early, hit the ATM, and waited for M. at the 7-11. He showed up and we got to T & S in seconds (it is literally across the street). They have a big menu we pored over while waiting for
goddessgoddess and T. We got potstickers, salt and pepper shrimp (and it was amazing, I love this dish and I've never had it made so well), and a scallop dish.
We were gonna go to Yahala (the hookah lounge) but it was crowded so we went to Epoch, sat on the patio, and drank Mexican Cokes and smuggled-in whiskey and played Gloom. That game is so much fun. T. won by a wide margin. Then
goddessgoddess and T. called it a night. M. and I went back to Yahala, which was now quiet, and shared a bowl of jasmine shisha and a pot of earl grey. I really, really like Yahala. The service is friendly and there is a wide selection of tobaccos to choose from, also they serve lovely pots of tea. Then we went back to M.'s to meet his furbabies (his dog greeted me enthusiastically, his elder-kitty greeted me caustiously, and his younger cats mostly ignored me), frolic, and watch the first episode of Hamish Macbeth. It was 6am by the time I got home, and Hecate was very cross at me for being away so long and then going to sleep right away :)
Good date.
