The clinic where I go for counseling and group therapy has Van Gogh's Wheatfield With Crows in the lobby and when I tried to explain to my therapist why that was kind of offputting she looked at me like I was making no sense at all.
I don't know if I can keep going there. The whole lobby has oppressively dark paneled walls, beat-up black vinyl couches, and a clock with black hands on a dark brown face. I almost always have a panic attack over going and then leave feeling worse and just desperate to get home.
