So apparently LJ has started IP blocking people for posting slash now? Has anyone else heard about this?

I haven't heard; I haven't been paying attention.

I do know that there is a spam campaign going around DW that involves targeting people with certain interests listed, and sending them repeated solicitation messages for something that looks slashy, and the problem there is spam, not slash.
