28.6 F in Austin right now. Brrrr. I was very lucky and my caseworker drove me to my doctor's appointment this morning, because the office opened late because of the nasty weather and if I'd taken the bus as usual I would have shown up and it would have been closed. As it is I saw a nurse practitioner who was super thorough and went over my last blood test results in detail and spotted some thyroid weirdness. So Synthroid and Paxil are being added to my medication cocktail.

I am still managing at least a sentence a day on my Welcome to Night Vale fluff fic. Even on the stressiest days this week I managed at least a sentence. This, I can be proud of.

Yay for good luck, and also for thorough doctors who spot thyroid weirdness! (Thyroid stuff is both GINORMOUS when it hits, for both physical and mood symptoms, and soooo easily manageable by comparison to a lot of conditions, so yay for that too!)

And YAY for writing! You can definitely be proud of that! (You are inspiring me to keep writing daily too--- thanks for that!)

Yeah, that sounds like a thing that could happen--- like maybe your body is just not telling itself to make as much of the thyroid hormones as you need for whatever reason! I reiterate: yay synthroid.

Aww, thanks, hon! And I have always thought the same of you as well, so I'm equally excited that you're writing! (Relatedly, there are ZOMG SO MANY stockings I want to stuff on [community profile] fandom_stocking, lol.)
