I didn't post it here yet - my mother passed away Wednesday night.
So I figured I should get a tattoo. It was helpful for me when I got tattoos when Molly, Hecate, and Anya each passed. And I realized right away what I should get. This is an illustration from the book DAVID AND THE PHOENIX. It was a book my mother had loved as a kid, and when I was a kid she started reading it to me one night - but the place where she stopped was a cliffhanger. When I protested, she said that I was learning to read (I think I was 5 or 6?), if I wanted more I could read it myself.
So I did. I finished the book. And she never read to me again.
This picture is from the exact cliffhanger spot where she stopped.
