The girls put up a huge fight over being put in their carriers. Hardly surprising; they've been aware of my stress level and seen lots of stuff getting boxed (mostly thanks to the wonderful innostrantsa), and there's noisy construction going on. But after chasing and struggling I got them ready in time for the arrival of goddessgoddess and Tr., and we brought them (and some more assorted trinkets) to the new place. Then we went to MT Market! So I have various Asian foods in my new kitchen, and I was delighted to find a small maneki neko glitter snowglobe... only $5, it seemed like a good omen.

Resting up for now. Gonna try sorting out some more trash later. And in the morning, scaryness happens!

Good luck, hon! It sounds like you've got everything under control--- I know how scary and difficult moving is, especially when it's not a move you'd choose, but you're doing fantastically with it. Let me know if there's anything I can do!

My cats absolutely hate going into their carriers too.
