Does some sort of narrative causality apply?
Got a phone call today from the apartment complex office.
"Your rent was already paid this month. Come take your check back."
Seriously, that was all the explanation I got. I can think of one perfectly logical possibility involving the vagaries of the Housing Authority and the speed of their communications. But it's weird. It's like, WTF Rent Fairy?
