So, how many of you guys have heard of memorial diamonds? They take cremains and make synthetic stones from it.

It occurs to me that I could make a Kickstarter to raise funds for a pre-need from LifeGem and the services of a skilled jeweler to design something spectacular for when the time comes. The info on the site makes it sound like they can make quite a few stones from one person so the people who get the biggest donations could get some of the resulting deathbling!

This just might become more popular in the future.

I think the concept is nifty! And it doesn't take up a lot of space like conventional burial. I keep expecting it to be a big thing in Japan!
