Got some help calling the bill collector. At first it seemed like we'd come to an agreement but then they got weird about sending me paperwork... IDEK. I see my caseworker tomorrow, gonna try to get some help from him.
Couch Potato Austin has been a godsend for me. They keep me in eggs, cheese, and milk, and they started carrying Boomerang's meat pies... I think I am gonna have to stock up on some more of those! I've had such wonderful dealings with them (Couch Potato, that is, although I have nothing but good to say about Boomerang's) and I wanted to show my appreciation, so when I got my last delivery I gave the driver a modest selection of smellies from my swap pile (made sure to mix up vendors too, threw in a little BPAL, Conjure Oils, ZOMGSmells, and Delightful Rot), since I found out that the whole business is owned & run by two women I have an even bigger soft spot.
I really need to take up some sort of craft. I've failed wretchedly every time I've tried to learn knitting or crocheting or the like. Maybe needlepoint or cross-stitch or something? Does anyone know any simple starter kits for something like that (that aren't excessively childish looking or expensive)? I just... need something.

Couch Potato sounds excellent! That is a really cool service!
Craftwise... I think I saw some geeky needlepoint sets somewhere, but that was ages ago and I'm not sure how hard they'd be. I'll let you know if I come across anything!
