'Twas Shrink Day. Got up early, because I haven't been sleeping well lately. Left super early and got a nosh at McD's. My earbuds were dying so I stopped at the dollar store and got a new pair and some incense. I got to the clinic early but the doctor was able to see me early. I was a sobbing wreck at him for a bit, and I also asked about dyspraxia. Very pleased that he was well-informed about dyspraxia and knew the terms body shaming and concern trolling. He included dyspraxia symptoms when he filled out the paperwork for MetroAccess so my transport situation might improve soon. He took me off the Minipress, doubled the Haldol (at my cautious request), added Luvox, and left the Valium and Lithium the same.
The reception staff pissed me off, though. When Max saw that Dr. Bach had seen me early he thought I'd left and didn't realize I was waiting for him and I had to ask repeatedly for someone to remind him even after he started leaving me messages about missing me and having to reschedule! But as it turned out the person I needed him to talk to for me was not in so we had to reschedule anyway.
Then I hit up Walgreens. Got my meds (they had everything in stock, but ouch, Valium is pricey), got some groceries, even got some nail polish! Good ol' Wet n Wild, in a fast dry formula. I got a solid black, a pearlescent silver, a very TARDISy blue, and a sort of iridescent octarine. I might try doing a marbled look (there are tutorials on YouTube) at some point but wearing nail polish at all will be a big step, it's been ages.
