If you have to talk to your caseworker regularly, maybe taking a little time here and there to think about what you want to say to request the help might make the requesting process less exhausting, if you don't have to do it all at once.
The part where you know you need help and what to do about it is a huge thing. That's a big chunk of the battle right there--- lots of people would have to spend lots of spoons getting to where you are in terms of knowing you need help and having some idea of what the first step is to take to get it, so you're ahead of the game! (I am seriously impressed with you for that.)
I don't talk to my caseworker often though, he's always missing appointments and dodging questions. I don't have the spoons to have to fight to get the help I need, and I'm so tired of people just getting burned out on me because I'm always struggling to keep my head above water.
