It's not weird at all! I am glad that there are some people who get that it really was a big fucking scary deal to me, even though it was objectively a routine and basic thing that went very smoothly. Because it was still fucking terrifying to me and knowing intellectually that it would be ok did not help.
I think anybody who's done any of that stuff, or watched it done, whether it's home-buying paperwork, rental paperwork, government housing paperwork, student housing paperwork--- even if you know you'll get whatever approval is involved, it's still your fucking home on the line. And there are still a million stupid ways something could go wrong. So being nervous about that? Totally normal. And it sounds like you handled it like a boss!
