I need help, I need friends

I've come to realize that I'm not just isolated in the real world lately, I've become increasingly cut off online as well. I used to be able to rely on there always being a couple people on I could chat with and that's not true anymore, and I don't have the spoons to try and find active chats.... can anyone help?

RP withdrawal is a factor too, but I've had attempts at setting up one-on-one RP fall through repeatedly, and I don't have the heart to try and get into a new game, I think... and they're all so big and chaotic, or have overly involved application processes, or both.

I'm so lonely. If anyone has the inclination to ping me on AIM, I'm PortableKusu. Of course, I know desperation is unappealing and depression is off-putting. But if anyone cares, I need more people to talk to, especially if we can find happy distracting things to discuss. I don't know what to do anymore and I'm scared and alone.

I admit freely to being part of the FRIENDSFAIL (and unfortunately I get worse in the new year because of workstress). Mea culpa!

That said, two places I have noticed might be of help to you in your quest for new and improved sources of happy distracting fannishness: kouredios's friending meme and fandom_stocking. Submissions are closed for the latter, but if you look through the tags, you may find someone with similar fannish interests whose prompts inspire you to post something--- I think even one sentence-worth of fic or meta could easily count as a stocking stuffer. (I have a stocking at the latter, but it's all Star Wars and Final Fantasy, i.e. not your fandoms. Haven't posted to the friending meme owing to my above incipient social-spoons-fail: not fair for me to invite new people "out to play" and then not have time and energy to play!)
